Realme GT5 Pro in for review

by TexasDigitalMagazine.com

Realme makes its most powerful phones under the GT lineup for a few years now, but before the GT5 Pro, there hasn’t been a true Realme flagship in the series.

There is now – the GT5 Pro adds the final ingredient to complete the true flagship puzzle – flagship cameras. You get the competent main camera from the OnePlus Open and the OnePlus 12, a 65mm periscope telephoto with the largest sensor on a zoom camera, as well as an 8MP ultrawide shooter. Upfront is a 32MP selfie camera. We just wish Realme could have thought of something to cover up the placeholder lens on the camera island as it detracts from the phone’s otherwise premium look.

Speaking of that, just look at the Realme GT5 Pro. It’s clad in this unique Red Rock orange color and features grippy vegan leather on the rear. You get wireless charging under that leather finish – a first for a Realme phone, and it’s 50W. The ample 5,400mAh battery has 100W charging.

There’s a lot to test here – from the large-sensor zoom camera to the battery life, the display that promises to reach up to 4,500 nits, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s performance. We’ll get on it and report back!
