vivo sub-brand iQOO is going to make the Neo9 and Neo9 Pro smartphones official at a special event on December 27. This has already been confirmed. Now that we’re getting closer and closer to the big day, people who are in possession of prototypes are starting to run benchmarks on them, and you know what that means, right?
The iQOO Neo9 Pro has just been spotted in the Geekbench online database, because a unit was put through the paces of Geekbench 6. It managed a single-core score of 2,235 and a multi-core score of 7,381.
The phone is powered by MediaTek’s latest and greatest, the Dimensity 9300 SoC. This is paired, in this unit, with an ample 16GB of RAM, though versions with other memory amounts may be offered as well. Unsurprisingly, the Neo9 Pro which ran the benchmark was on Android 14 – this will be paired with Funtouch OS 14 for global markets, and Origin OS 4 in China.
According to previous teasers, the vanilla Neo9 will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset instead. The Neo9 Pro is expected to boast a 6.78-inch 1,260×2,800 OLED display with 144 Hz refresh rate, up to 512GB of storage, a 50 MP main rear camera, a 16 MP selfie snapper, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 120W fast wired charging.
