Last week the teaser campaign started for the launch of the Galaxy M15 5G in India, which was initially unveiled in early March in other regions. Today, the teasers finally have a launch date attached to them: April 8.
The launch is taking place at 12 noon local time, but the M15 won’t be alone – it will be joined by the Galaxy M55 5G, which first went official in Brazil at the end of last month. Both devices will be sold through Amazon India, as that’s where the teasers have been posted.
The Galaxy M15 has a 6.5-inch 1080×2340 90 Hz Super AMOLED screen, the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, 4/6/8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, a triple rear camera setup (50 MP main, 5 MP ultrawide, 2 MP macro), a 13 MP selfie snapper, and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging. It runs Android 14 with One UI 6 on top.
The Galaxy M55 comes with a 6.7-inch 1080×2400 120 Hz Super AMOLED screen with 1,000-nit brightness, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, 8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main with OIS, 8 MP ultrawide, 2 MP macro), a 50 MP selfie camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging. It runs Android 14 with One UI 6.1 on top.
