The Lenovo Legion Y700 (2023) is a gaming-oriented tablet that initially launched in China last year and the tech giant is now making it available to global markets. More specifically, the Legion Y700 (2023) will be available in EMEA and Asia, but other select markets will be included to the list.

There aren’t any changes to the specs for the global variant, though. The tablet is still built around a 144Hz 8.8-inch IPS LCD panel with a generous 1600 x 2560px resolution. Dolby Vision and HDR10 are supported, although HDR content won’t look as good as on an OLED display.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is running the show paired with either 12GB/256GB memory or 16GB/512GB. The storage can be expanded via a microSD card slot.

There is a 13MP main camera and a 2MP macro unit at the back as well as an 8MP front-facing shooter. A 6,550 mAh battery keeps the lights on, supporting 45W wired charging.

The tablet comes with Legion ColdFront passive cooling solution with a dedicated vapor chamber. It promises long gaming sessions and various performance modes, depending on the use case.

More interestingly, the Legion Y700 (2023) sports two USB-C ports, one of which supports the DisplayPort 1.4 standard for connecting an external display and enjoy gaming on

The tablet will start selling in EMEA countries this month, starting at €599.
