Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 rumored to be quite expensive in India

by TexasDigitalMagazine.com

After weeks upon weeks of rumors and leaks, Samsung finally made the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 official yesterday morning. In the meantime we took a look at the company’s official promo videos for the duo, and found out that the Galaxy A55 won’t be making it to the US.

Now it’s time to talk pricing – specifically, the prices for these two smartphones in India. While Samsung hasn’t made those official yet, a new rumor today suggests they might be higher than anyone was expecting. Before we dive in, we caution you to understand that this is just an unconfirmed rumor at this point – so it could be accurate, or not.

As you can see in the post on X embedded above, the Galaxy A55 is said to start at INR 42,999 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and go up to INR 45,999 with 12GB of RAM and the same amount of storage.

On the other hand, there seems to only be one version of the A35 planned for India, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, that will cost INR 30,999.

So what do you think about these prices? Provided of course that this rumor isn’t just built from someone’s imagination. In the cutthroat Indian market they may seem high, then again Samsung’s perceived brand value could just make them acceptable for a lot of people. And then there’s also the fact that the A55 has a metal frame and glass back, which could count for something? We’ll have to wait and see.
