The Tecno Pova 6 Pro‘s battery test is ready and it brings good news. The mid-ranger achieved an excellent Active Use Score of 13:26h, a notable improvement on most of its direct rivals. It manages to put its bigger-than-usual 6,000 mAh battery to good use, powering the Dimensity 6080 SoC and large 6.78-inch FHD+ display for a good while before you need to plug in your charger.
The Pova 6 Pro outpace its competitors in web browsing, video playback and phone calls, but the largely underwhelming gaming runtime brings the Active Use Score down. So how happy you will be with the battery life is largely dependent on the frequency of your gaming sessions.
The overall score is still great, but the gaming performance allowed the Motorola G54 Power and the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G to top it. You can adjust the weight of the different tests and see how much use you can expect to get from each phone by using the widgets below.
