The Realme 12 series has already been teased extensively with plenty of details regarding its camera setup, among other things. Regarding official info, we believe the Realmi 12 family will launch this month.
A new video has now popped up on YouTube detailing a hands-on experience with what we believe will be the top-tier Realme 12 Pro+ model, also known as the RMX3841.
You should check out the video for yourself since it features some interesting bits on info here and there, a few color variants with what seems to be faux leather on the back, and a UI overview and tour. We have some detailed specs on the Realme 12 Pro+ to accompany the video.
The Realme 12 Pro + will offer a 6.7-inch FullHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The chipset is said to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, and in the unit featured in the video it is paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Of course, the camera setup is arguably the phone’s highlight since Realme says that it not only has a periscope telephoto on the affordable Realme 12 series but also the same implementation as on the flagship GT 5 Pro model. You can read more about the camera setup here, but a quick rundown includes a 50MP main Sony IMX890 camera, a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope and an 8MP ultrawide. There is a 32MP selfie camera in a punch hole on the front of the phone.
We also know that the Realme 12 Pro+ is rocking a 5,000 mAh battery, which is housed inside an 8.75mm thick body with a plastic frame that tips the scale at 196 grams. The unit featured in the video runs on Android 14 with Realme UI 5.0 on top.
