Honor launched the X50 series in the summer of 2023, and we already have three official variants. A fourth one will join the family, as the brand revealed the X50 GT is getting announced on January 4.
The smartphone looks much like the Honor X50 but will have a fancy white color, a yellow racing stripe, and a classic black paint job.
The new phone will have a 108 MP sensor with a 1/1.67” size and an f/1.75 aperture in front, which is evident from the writing on the back of the white version. This is the popular Samsung HM6 sensor, seen plenty of midrangers, including the regular Honor X50 and the Honor Magic6 Lite/X9b.
The new phone will emphasize the GT series’ “extreme pursiut of performance”, according to the Honor CMO Harrison Zhang. Honor X50 GT will have improved heat dissipation, a more responsive screen, and other improvements rarely seen in the midrange X lineup.
The event is scheduled for 19:30 local time, and we expect Honor to reveal more details in the seven days leading up to the event.
