The 15-square-mile ranch is home to a wide variety of wild animals that include, white-tailed deer, Scimitar horned oryn, turkeys, wild pigs, and javelina, which makes Arrowhead Ranch the perfect site for hunters, the listing says.

Quail hunting is the main attraction with this property. The listing states current owners, Homer and Linda Gomez and previous families that lived on the property, helped grow the quail population at Arrowhead Ranch,that now holds tens of thousands of birds across fields at the ranch that are for quail hunting.

According to the listing, Arrowhead Ranch’s main home is 9,500 square feet with a total of five bedrooms, four bathrooms and two half-bathrooms. It has high ceilings, a fireplace with a large kitchen and living room. Just outside of the home is 5,000 square feet of outdoor space with paved patios, a pavilion, a wet bar with a grill, and fireplace.

A lodge built in the 1930s has been renovated and houses a kitchen, den, four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and an office. Around the house, there area three smaller homes. A 6,000-square-foot enclosed barn with rolling doors, two smaller barns, a couple RV sites, seven water wells, and dozens of ponds sit on the property also, the listing states.

Need to fly off the property? No problem, a 5,000 square-foot landing strip and an airplane hangar used on the property when former U.S. Senator, and President Bill Clinton’s Secretary of Treasury, Lloyd Bentsen owned the ranch. He was the Secretary of Treasury until 1994, he was later awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.  Arrowhead Ranch was with Bentsen’s family for about 50 years. Since the 90s, the ranch has had two other owners, according to the listing.
